Kara McDowell's formative years, spent amidst mountains and deserts, were filled with imaginative storytelling. As a middle child, she honed her narrative skills by captivating her family with mystery stories, encouraging them to decipher the endings. After pursuing English Literature at university, she ventured into freelance writing. Now, she crafts young adult novels from her home in Arizona.
