Gabriella Luzzani Book order (chronological)

This book relates how the author and his wife put up with the unco-operative animals and even less malleable TV producers, and the fun they had filming his television series.

Much of Gerald Durrell's worldwide fame and esteem stems from his engaging and entertaining chronicles of his frequent expeditions to diverse parts of the globe in search of often endangered animal species. This work recounts an eight-month expedition to Argentina, during which the naturalist traveled from Puerto Deseado to Mendoza and Jujuy in search of rare species of South American fauna. The narrative combines vivid descriptions of animal behavior and the varied Argentine landscape with the author's overflowing humor to portray colorful characters and recount the amusing adventures and curious incidents that punctuated his travels.
