This volume of Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing includes accepted papers from SOCO 2016, CISIS 2016, and ICEUTE 2016, held in San Sebastián, Spain, in October 2016. Soft computing encompasses a range of computational techniques in machine learning, computer science, and engineering, aimed at investigating and analyzing complex issues. The 9th CISIS 2016 conference aimed to connect academic and industry researchers across the fields of Computational Intelligence, Information Security, and Data Mining, driven by the need for intelligent, flexible behavior in complex systems, particularly in mission-critical areas. The CISIS 2016 International Program Committee selected 20 papers after thorough review. Additionally, the 7th ICEUTE 2016 saw the selection of 14 papers by its International Program Committee. This collection reflects the latest advancements and discussions in these dynamic fields.
