Virginia Hyde Book order (chronological)

Kate Leslie, a widow of forty with a mind of her own, visits Mexico... There she becomes involved in a subterranean world of primitive gods and mystical ritual. And between her and Cipriano, one of the leaders of a revolutionary movement, springs a violent paradox of love. Hostile and indifferent as she is to the cult of the Plumed Serpent , Kate finds through it a revelation which is decisive to her fulfilment.
