Peter de Wit Biography

Peter de Wit is a Dutch comic artist whose work is characterized by satirical humor and a keen insight into the human psyche. His most famous character, the psychiatrist Sigmund, after initial publishing struggles, eventually found a home in a national newspaper and became the basis for an extensive book series. De Wit's stories often explore the darker aspects of human nature with an uncompromising yet engaging style. Beyond Sigmund, he has also created other popular characters and collaborated on multiple comic series, some of which have inspired television shows.
