Václav Klaus

    Václav Klaus is an economist who emerged as a central figure in Czech politics following the Velvet Revolution. After years in academia and public administration, he moved into politics, serving as Minister of Finance and later as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, where he played a significant role in the establishment of the independent state.
