    Geeta Iyengar, the eldest daughter of the founder of the worldwide Iyengar yoga method, Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar, is recognized as a leading female yoga teacher. Studying yoga with her father from a young age, she began teaching internationally when he was away. Following his retirement, she became co-director of the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute. She continues to share her expertise globally, building upon her father's legacy with her own distinct approach to the practice.
