Alice Domurat Dreger Biography

Alice Dreger is a Professor of Clinical Medical Humanities and Bioethics. Much of her professional energy is dedicated to using history to improve the medical and social treatment of people born with norm-challenging bodies. Her work explores the question of why we don't change minds instead of bodies, advocating for social justice in medicine and science through research, writing, speaking, and advocacy.
