His literary contributions, spanning poetry and prose, are widely recognized for their influence on significant figures in English literature, such as William Shakespeare and Ben Jonson. Despite facing severe persecution, torture, and ultimately execution for his faith, his work endures as a testament to his conviction and artistic vision.
