Robin Olds

Robin Olds was a decorated American fighter pilot and general officer in the U.S. Air Force, achieving the distinction of 'triple ace' with a combined total of 16 aerial victories across World War II and the Vietnam War. Emerging from a military family and education, Olds epitomized the young fighter pilot and became a pioneer jet pilot. Despite often differing with leadership, he remained dedicated to service, rising to command two fighter wings. He is widely regarded by peers and historians as the finest wing commander of the Vietnam War, celebrated for both his exceptional air-fighting skills and his formidable reputation as a combat leader.
