Pat Mills, often called 'the godfather of British comics,' is a writer and editor who revitalized British boys' comics in the 1970s. He remained a leading force in the field, known for his work's distinctive violence and anti-authoritarian themes. Mills is most recognized for creating the influential title 2000 AD and significantly shaping the development of the iconic character Judge Dredd.
