Yves Swolfs

    April 25, 1955

    Yves Swolfs is a Belgian comic book writer and artist who began his career with advertising illustrations. He is best known for his western series Durango, inspired by spaghetti westerns and Jean-Louis Trintignant. Swolfs also ventured into historical comics with the Dampierre series, set during the French Revolution. Later, he created the successful vampire saga Prince of the Night, along with other western and medieval tales, showcasing his versatility across genres.
