Julia Boehme Biography

Julia Boehme studied literature and musicology in Berlin after graduating from high school and then worked as an editor. Even during this time, she wrote numerous contributions for newspapers and radio stations. After her studies, she worked as an editor for children's television, where she was involved with the show Käpt’n Blaubär, among others. Since 2000, Boehme has been working as a freelance author. Her books, especially the Conni series, are psychologically sophisticated works that depict and reflect conflicts and their resolutions from children's worlds.
