American Wrestlers are full-on athletes presenting astonishing performances in the wrestling ring. Of course, many moves and show elements of this sport have been extensively choreographed. This work portrays the great stars of American Wrestling.

Without doubt, the Munich-based star photographer Did Zill is one of the essential visual chroniclers of 80s music. From 1982 to 1987, he met up with Depeche Mode for twelve photo sessions, creating a unique fund of pictures. For the first time, Didi Zill has opened his archives to furnish this luxurious volume with some of the best Depeche Mode photography around. This is by far the largest illustrated book available on Depeche Mode! Few bands have influenced electronic pop as strongly as have Depeche Mode - a band who have experienced all the highs and lows of the music business. The young band soared to comet-like heights in the eighties. They were the most important pioneers of synthesizer music. Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher, and Alan Wilder had an enormous impact on the sound of the decade. They released great albums which are still influential in terms of style today. Die deutsche Gruppe Boney M. hat Musikgeschichte geschrieben und landete während ihres zehnjährigen Bestehens zahlreiche Hits, die bis heute Evergreenstatus genießen. Didi Zill, Fotograf und offizieller Begleiter der Band, dokumentierte ihre Erfolge und die Musikszene der 70er bis 90er Jahre. Zill, der in den 70er und 80er Jahren für die Jugendzeitschrift BRAVO arbeitete, bietet in seinem Bildband einen einzigartigen Einblick in sein Archiv. Boney M. überzeugte durch eine Mischung aus schwarzer und weißer Popmusik, karibischen Klängen und beeindruckenden Tanzeinlagen, was ihnen zahlreiche Chartplatzierungen und Auszeichnungen einbrachte. Leadsängerin Liz Mitchell begeisterte nicht nur mit Discosongs, sondern auch mit gefühlvollen Balladen. Ihr Hit „Mary's Boychild“ wurde zu einem der bekanntesten Weihnachtslieder und bescherte Frank Farian 1978 einen Eintrag ins Guinness-Buch der Rekorde. Der Erfolg der Gruppe erstreckte sich bis ins englische Königshaus, wo sie von der Königin als „Erfolgreichste Popgruppe 1978 in England“ ausgezeichnet wurden. Zudem erhielten sie als erste westliche Gruppe die Erlaubnis, Konzerte in der Sowjetunion zu geben, und tanzten sogar auf dem Roten Platz. 1986 löste Frank Farian die Band auf.

Neil Diamond is without doubt one of the most successful solo artists and songwriters of all times, and his songs have been covered by dozens of artists. Fancy a quick tour? His song "I'm a Believer" - written for The Monkees and also recorded by Smash Mouth - can also be found on the soundtrack of the hit movie "Shrek". He wrote the number one hit "Red Red Wine" for UB40. And of course, there's "Girl, You'll be a Woman Soon", one of the outstanding tracks on the soundtrack of "Pulp Fiction". His hits turned into legends. Neil Diamond is a superstar if ever there was one. The photographer Didi Zill was lucky enough to have numerous opportunities for photo shootings with Neil Diamond - at concerts, in the studio, and he was even invited to do an extensive home story on the artist. These are the sessions a studio session in Munich in June 1971, a tour through Texas in November 1971, a home story in December 1971, a tour of Germany in June 1972, live concerts in New York and Washington in October 1972, Dusseldorf in Germany in December 1972, Malibu in July 1973, and finally a tour of Germany in December 1974.This is probably the largest illustrated volume ever published on Neil Diamond, especially at this luxurious quality, with lots of pictures, at the format of 9.5" x 11.8". The book also contains fascinating accounts by the photographer Didi Zill, detailing his encounters with Neil Diamond and the photo shootings.

Gegenüber der Erstausgabe von 2002 wurde das Buch umfassend überarbeitet und mit zahlreichen neuen Bildern und wesentlich umfangreicheren Texten versehen, u. a. mit Interviews mit den derzeitigen Bandmitgliedern.
