Stanisław Szukalski Book order
Stanisław Szukalski was a Polish sculptor and painter who became a significant figure within the Chicago Renaissance. In 1930s Poland, he gained recognition as a nationalist sculptor. He also developed the pseudoscientific-historical theory of Zermatism, positing that all human culture originated from post-deluge Easter Island and that humanity was engaged in a perpetual struggle against the Sons of Yeti ("Yetinsyny"), the offspring of Yeti and humans.

Natomiast Brytyjska Akademia Nauk zestawiła utwór Szukalskiego z prozą Guya de Maupassanta i Antoniego Czechowa. Pisze o tym w monografii poświęconej polskiemu artyście Lechosław Lameński.
