Moritz hat damit seine Wohnung und seine Vorräte verloren. Als Friedel ihn weinen sieht, überkommt ihn doch das Mitleid. Er lädt Moritz zu sich ein und teilt fortab seine Wohnung und Vorräte mit ihm. Jeder Mensch kennt diese Form von Rivalität, ob vorder- oder untergründig und Kinder sind oft über Geschwister damit konfrontiert.
