Maisie, is the best kitten in the world. Maisie MacKenzie, who lives with her granny in Morningside (Edinburgh) while her Daddy explores the world, gets up to all sorts of adventures with her friends Archie, Flora and Little Effie.
Maisie has very little idea of the past beyond her Granny's photographs of trams and tales of the days when nobody owned a fridge or a television. In this story she makes an amazing discovery during her holiday on a farm and learns that Scotland has been around for a very long time indeed.
Maisie visits the Museum with Mrs McKitty and Archie but when they get bored, the museum seems a great place to play hide and seek. Unfortunately, Maisie has to wait so long for Archie to find her that she falls asleep and Mrs McKitty and Archie go home without her. When she wakes up the Museum is in darkness and no-one is about.
This hilarious picture book is a must for all Maisie fans and for those who have not yet met her.
