Jacek Kuroń Biography

Jacek Jan Kuroń was a leading figure of the opposition in the People's Republic of Poland. He was a significant social and political figure, an educator, and a historian, known for his activism within the Polish Scouting Association and as a co-founder of the Workers' Defence Committee. His work and dedication profoundly influenced Polish society and its political landscape. He served twice as the Minister of Labour and Social Policy.
