Felix Thijssen authored an extensive and varied body of work. His eight-part space opera featuring Mark Stevens has become a classic of Dutch science fiction. His psychologically tinged novels received excellent reviews, being compared favorably to American literature. His books about Sterzon can be seen as SF thrillers, centering on the archetype of the lone wolf in an unknown, hostile environment.
