Known for her highly sensitive photographs of the female nude, Karin Székessy is one of Germany's most important female photographers.Inspired by encounters with painters, illustrators, graphic artists and sculptors from her artistic milieu, she has produced mostly black-and-white photographic portraits from the 1960s to the present. These portraits of artists are full of life and authenticity.
