Arthur Geisert gilt als der Schweinespezialist des amerikanischen Bilderbuchs. Er verrät uns ein neues Zauberwort: »Oink«. Denn mehr als »Oink« fällt Mutter Schwein zu dem Streich ihrer kleinen Schweinchen nicht ein: Sie büchsen während der Mittagsruhe aus. Als ihr Ausflug auf einem Apfelbaum endet, ist das Geschrei (»Oink, oink«) natürlich groß. Doch wie Mutter Schwein »Oink« sagt, das muß man gelesen und gesehen haben.
