Colleen Hoover is an American author who was born on December 11, 1979 in Sulphur Springs, Texas, USA.
She grew up in Saltillo, Texas, and graduated from high school in 1998. In 2000, she married Heath Hoover, with whom she has three sons. Hoover studied at Texas A&M University–Commerce and earned a degree in Social Work. In November 2011, Colleen Hoover began to write her first novel because I love Layken, which she did not want to publish first. After publication, he received five stars from the bookblogger Maryse Black, sales increased and the novel was included in the New York Times bestseller list.
