Enne Koens Biography

Enne Koens is a writer of drama, prose, and songs. She has penned theatre pieces for various companies, including Artemis, Max, De Toneelmakerij, and Gasthuis. For two summers, she also filled the Studio 7 tent at De Parade with her own music theatre group, 'Het Paleis voor Volksvlijt.' Her texts, including an award-winning play, are available online. She made her novel debut in 2007 and subsequently garnered acclaim for her young adult fiction, earning a debut award. Her work often delves into deeply moving themes, particularly in her writing for younger audiences, with stories celebrated for their sensitivity and depth.
