Norman Thelwell

    May 23, 1923 – February 7, 2004

    Norman Thelwell was an English cartoonist celebrated for his humorous illustrations of ponies and horses. A graduate of the Liverpool College of Art, he became a prominent contributor to the satirical magazine Punch. He found his signature niche in depicting the delightful antics of Pony Club girls and their spirited equines, a subject that brought him widespread acclaim. His distinctive drawings and cartoons brought joy to millions.
