This book details extreme persecutions and miraculous deliverances akin to biblical accounts. Despite a life of poverty in China, the author has since spoken to thousands, possibly millions, internationally with his gospel message. Viewed as a rebel by some Chinese for not joining the official government-controlled Christian organization, he was imprisoned and tortured. While in prison, his ministry continued with further miraculous results, leading many prisoners and even some officials to become born-again Christians. The book recounts his legendary escape from a maximum-security prison, from which no one had previously escaped, after hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit telling him to simply walk out.
