Joe Dever

    Joe Dever was a British fantasist and game designer, originally a musician. He crafted the fictional world of Magnamund as a setting for his campaigns. In 1984, he launched the first book in the Lone Wolf series of young-adult gamebooks, which has since sold over 10.2 million copies worldwide. Following a resurgence in interest starting in 2003, particularly in France, Italy, and Spain after the series was re-released, his works continue to captivate readers with immersive worlds and engaging adventures.
