Alissa Walser Book order

Alissa Walser's prose repeatedly explores human interactions, particularly relationships between men and women, as well as the connection to one's own body and sexuality. She often incorporated drawings into her stories that seem to interrupt the text but continue the narrative on another level. These small linear drawings can be interpreted in various ways, much like optical illusions. The interplay of image and text was a significant aspect of her work prior to 2010.
