Neuer Zuschnitt - neues Buch! Nach dem großformatigen Neuseeland-Bildband des Verlages (ID 13/92) folgte ein preiswerter Reisebildband (BA 5/95), 'Buchers Fernreise ...' (BA 4/92) ist auch noch lieferbar. Der vorliegende Band ist weitgehend eine Mixtur aus den o.a. Titeln. Der Text wurde aus 'Buchers Fernreise ...' übernommen, angereichert durch Themenseiten, die z.T. auch im Reisebildband zu finden sind. Die sehr guten Fotos stammen überwiegend ebenfalls aus dem Fundus und werden in neuer Anordnung und z.T. im anderen Format gezeigt. Der Reiseteil wurde umgeschrieben und aktualisiert (wobei nun die topographische Entstehung nicht mehr auf 250, sondern nur noch auf 150 Millionen Jahre zurückdatiert wird). Kleineren Büchereien empfohlen, die keinen der o.g. Titel besitzen. (2).
