Now that the gang has escaped from No. 6’s boundary, Kou has found renewed resolve to become an exorcist like his big brother. But he doesn’t expect to come face-to-face with the supernatural who disappeared not so long ago—Mitsuba! The two head off on an impromptu adventure to enjoy the city nightlife, heedless of the danger awaiting them in the dark…and in the midst of it all, Mitsuba comes out with a shocking request!

After being ripped apart by the severance between this world and the next, Nene and Hanako are finally reunited. That being said, it's not exactly a happy reunion--with both their emotions running high, they're all too quick to give in to anger. Nene has managed to escape the final resting place of all the kannagi sacrificed in this town, reuniting with Kou and the boy they now know to be a younger version of Tsukasa. As the beginning of the Yugi family tragedy is finally unveiled, Kou sees a chance to put everything to rights--if they can all escape the Red House. But this cursed mansion has already made the consequences of trying to free Tsukasa from its clutches very clear...

In exchange for a life, the link between this world and the next has been severed. Even so, Nene and Kou continue looking for a way to reach the boundaries, a search that leads them to the cursed "Red House." Inside, they find a boy who looks just like Hanako-kun and may have the answers they've been looking for-but they soon find the Red House is much easier to enter than to leave...

After going to rescue Aoi, Hanako-kun and Nene are thrown from No. 6's boundary and suddenly find themselves in a strange village, where they meet a girl named Sumire who seems to have a history with No. 6. Witnessing Sumire's "wedding day" up close might just give Nene a hint on how to resolve the school's impending crisis and save Aoi-but she'll have to survive it first!
