Silver, born Guido Silvestri, is an Italian comic artist, most renowned for creating the character Lupo Alberto. He began his career in the studio of Franco Bonvicini, honing his skills on established characters. A pivotal moment came in 1974 with the publication of farmyard strips in Corriere dei Ragazzi. This series introduced the now-iconic blue wolf, Lupo Alberto, whose romantic pursuits of the hen Marta are constantly thwarted by the formidable guard dog, Mosé. The engaging characters and their humorous escapades quickly achieved widespread acclaim from both editors and the public.
