This book presents the hundred most important Acupuncture Points and offers a maximum of practical and important information for each respectively. It contains information entirely new to the Western world of Acupuncture, namely a modern scientific nomenclature assigned to each one of the Acupuncture Points, their syndrome effects according to traditional Chinese medicine, and an indication of whether a point has a mainly local, meridian, or syndrome effect, or a combination of two or three of these effects. The text is part of a Computer Video Programme designed and developed for training courses conducted by the German Research Institute for Chinese Medicine (GRICMED). The book should be used in combination with the author's publication -Anatomic and Topographic Foundation of Chinese Acupuncture and Auriculotherapy (Three Original Chinese Wall Charts with English Description and Numbering of Points).
