Asher is stuck in Phnom Penh. Work has dried up, and he's at the end of his spiritual and financial tether. But highest-quality heroin is very cheap, and so with funds borrowed from the loan-sharking Mr Hawk, and teaming up with ex-lover Julie, he decides to move some weight to New York.
