From the Swabian Alb in Germany out into the world, from a joiner’s apprentice to a global market leader: Thanks to his excellent technical and entrepreneurial talent, Artur Schwörer, born into a large family in the countryside, founded the PERI plant and thus created a company which manufactures products that are used on jobsites all around the world. PERI formwork was used for the enlargement of the Panama Canal and also for the construction of the Federal Chancellery in Berlin. Wilhelm von Sternburg has written a portrait about the life and work of a Swabian engineer, great entrepreneur and extraordinary person.
