As they investigate sightings of the elusive grey pony, they uncover the truth: it's not a ghost but a frightened animal abandoned by its cruel owner. The girls take it upon themselves to rescue the pony, showcasing their bravery and love for animals in this thrilling tale of friendship and compassion.

The family go for a weekend break in a horse-drawn caravan. Sheltie goes too and soon makes friends with Toby who pulls the caravan. The highlight of the holiday is a trip to Bird Island across a wide stretch of sand.
