Published in 1986, each county of each state of the former West Germany receives a one-page description. This includes the district (Regierungsbezirk) to which the county belongs, a picture and description of its Coat of Arms, a brief account of the historical development of the county, the economy and sites of interest to the tourist. Helpful for general orientation.
