Franz Gall

Franz Josef Gall was a neuroanatomist and physiologist who pioneered the study of the localization of mental functions in the brain. His work laid the groundwork for later research into brain function and its relationship to the human psyche. Although later challenged, Gall's approach inspired generations of scientists to explore the brain more deeply.
