“Russell Targ’s Third Eye Spies is a masterwork in the history and practice of remote viewing.” —Dean Radin, MS, PhD, chief scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and author of Real Magic and other books  Explore the evidence of psychic powers and learn the skills of remote viewing from the masters for yourself.   Russell Targ has been successfully teaching people how to tap into their psychic abilities for more than fifty years. This began in 1972 when he cofounded a CIA-sponsored ESP research program at Stanford Research Institute. The program yielded such incredible results as the description of a secret Russian weapons factory in Siberia and the location of several kidnapped US officials, including the ambassador to Iran. The founders also trained six Army intelligence officers to create an Army psychic corps that became known as Stargate.Third Eye Spies will introduce you to the most successful and gifted remote viewers in the world along with the evidence of their psychic abilities. Remote viewing is the opportunity to describe and experience objects and events in the distance, the past, and the future. Targ shares the simple techniques masters of remote viewing use to expand the mind’s eye beyond one’s physical location. With Third Eye Spies, you will be able to step beyond the boundaries of your physical body and learn to live with psychic abilities.

Popular misconceptions of psychic ability and ESP have often prevented these topics from being taken seriously, yet an abundance of scientific research shows that we have a tremendous capacity for developing these talents. In 1972, physicist Russell Targ, co-founded the Stanford Research Institute’s program to investigate the development of psychic abilities. In his ten years with this program, he came to understand that most people have the ability to describe events and locations that are blocked from ordinary perception. The term remote-viewing was coined for this ability. In this, his sixth book, Targ explores the scientific as well as the spiritual implications of remote viewing and offers detailed exercises to assist readers in cultivating their own psychic abilities.Russell offers several techniques and exercises to overcome all of this clatter and to develop remote-viewing skills. Remote-viewing offers a path of self-inquiry and self-realization and expands our limited awareness of the consciousness shared by all humans.

J.W. Dunne (1866-1949), an English aeronautical engineer and early military aircraft designer, ignited scientific interest and controversy with his 1927 work on multidimensional time. After experiencing precognitive dreams, including a vision of the catastrophic 1902 eruption of Mt. Pelee, Dunne re-evaluated the significance of dreams. He questioned whether dreams could be a mix of past and future events, challenging the conventional view of time as a linear progression. This inquiry led him to explore time in a novel way, conducting a cautious investigation into the nature of reality. He proposed a theory of "Infinite Regress," suggesting that time, consciousness, and the universe exist in four dimensions. Dunne's model intriguingly addresses various life mysteries, including the nature of dreams, the mechanics of prophecy, the concept of the soul's immortality, and the existence of a "general observer" or "Witness" behind consciousness, now referred to as the Higher Self. This work has been described by playwright J.B. Priestley as "one of the most fascinating, most curious, and perhaps the most important books of this age," highlighting its enduring significance in the exploration of time and consciousness.
