    Investigation of Pressure Drop and Dynamic Instabilities in Two-phase Flow

      Focusing on two-phase flow dynamics, particularly water/steam interactions, this work explores pressure loss and dynamic instabilities, specifically density wave oscillations, in thermohydraulic systems. It involves developing an experimental setup to conduct tests on a vaporizer tube and performing dynamic simulations using both homogeneous and heterogeneous flow models. The findings from experiments and simulations are synthesized into dimensionless stability maps that delineate operational limits for density wave oscillations in similar thermohydraulic systems.
