Martianus Book order

Martianus Capella, a Latin prose writer of Late Antiquity, was an early developer of the system of the seven liberal arts that structured early medieval education. His unique encyclopedic work, written in a mix of prose and verse, is a didactic allegory that often presents Neoplatonic philosophical views. While Martianus does not directly identify his religious affiliation, his works often unfold through dialogue, where the interlocutors' views may not necessarily represent the author's own.
