Admirable Events, a 1639 translation by Susan DuVerger, showcases a collection of novellas by French Bishop Jean Pierre Camus, dedicated to Queen Henrietta Maria. Despite being her only traditionally attributed work, evidence hints at her authorship of additional writings. Limited information about DuVerger indicates she was likely an English Catholic who lived in exile in France during the Civil War, highlighting her unique position and contributions to literature during a tumultuous period.
