Moses Hess

    January 21, 1812 – April 6, 1875

    Moses Hess was a Jewish philosopher and socialist, recognized as one of the founders of Labor Zionism. He fostered close friendships and collaborations with Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Hess played a significant role in introducing Engels to communist thought and highlighting critical social and economic issues for Marx.
