Covering the North Sea and Baltic coasts of Germany and Denmark, this guide is a companion to Brian Navin's North Sea Passage Pilot and Cruising Guide to the Netherlands. It is organized on the basis of carefully selected routes which pick up most of the harbours in the area that it covers. The combination of text, plans and photographs provides all the essential details and plans of ports that are covered. This new fourth edition contains extensive revisions that have become necessary since the last edition was published in 2006. Throughout the area changes have occurred, and whilst many are trivial, in some instances there have been substantial harbour works. This fifth edition of Brian Navin's well established guide to the rivers and canals of the Netherlands is a major revision. Throughout the data in the text has been updated and all the plans have been revised to include the latest controlling depths. The author spent some time during 2009 touring the Netherlands, checking information and also taking new photographs which are included in this new edition. The plans and charts have all been updated.
