It analyzes how women are depicted as perpetrators, victims, and resistors, highlighting the evolving representation influenced by socio-cultural changes, historical research, and remembrance politics. Ingrid Lewis argues that European Holocaust Cinema reflects a complex trajectory of change regarding women's experiences.
