Writing has always been an essential part of my life, almost as vital as breathing. From a young age, I was compelled to create my own school newspaper, serving as its sole editor and reporter. My father instilled in me a profound love for reading, particularly pulp crime fiction and classic authors. It was his introduction to John Steinbeck's work that fused my political awareness with storytelling. At the age of ten, I resolved to become a writer, a decision solidified after twenty-five years in journalism when I realized the imperative to seize my singular opportunity.
