Doplňuje je zprávami o tom, jak výprava v pustých končinách po čtyři měsíce marně slídila po tajemném tvoru, jehožstopy mnohokráte našla, ale sledovala nakonec bezvýsledně. Podařilo se jí však mj. objevit slavný skalp z Pangbočhe.
