Oliver Lustig

Oliver Lustig is a survivor of the Birkenau-Auschwitz concentration camp. His testimony powerfully recounts the extraordinary ordeal he and his family endured. Born in Romania, Lustig was deported to Auschwitz in 1944, where he was separated from his father, and his sister Eva was transferred through multiple camps. After his liberation in 1945, Lustig returned to complete his education, earning a PhD in economics. He dedicated his career to journalism and, most significantly, to preserving the memory of the Holocaust, urging future generations to remember so that such a tragedy is never repeated.
