This volume discusses the music-related works and collaborative projects of Dieter Roth in Concrete poetry, the Vienna Group, Fluxus and artists' music. It includes a DVD with an excerpt from the video recording of the Abschöpfsymphonie of 1979.

Die Publikation widmet sich dem Verhältnis zweier konträrer Werktypen des Lichtkünstlers James Turrell (*1943 in Los Angeles): den Architectures of Light und den Skyspaces , die das Zusammentreffen von architektonischem Innen- und natürlichem Außenraum untersuchen. Im Fokus stehen hierbei die permanente Installation Light Transport – eine Lichtinstallation, die den Bahnhof Zug bei Dunkelheit in unterschiedliche Farben taucht – und der Skyspace Piz Uter in Zuoz – ein schlicht gehaltener Rundbau aus Stein mit einer runden Öffnung in der Decke. Am Beispiel dieser beiden Werke wird dargestellt, wie sich Turrells Kunst im urbanen und natürlichen Raum jeweils entfaltet und welche Rückschlüsse daraus für seinen Kunstbegriff zu ziehen sind. Der umfangreiche und sorgfältig gestaltete Bildteil ermöglicht dem Betrachter / Leser eine Erfahrungsreise im Grenzraum des Sehens.
