Arthur Moeller van den Bruck

    April 23, 1876 – May 30, 1925

A German cultural historian and writer, he was the foremost German translator of Fyodor Dostoevsky's works. Van den Bruck coined the term "Third Reich" in his book of the same name, with "third" implying a third way beyond capitalism and communism, rather than a succeeding Reich. His intellectual work delved into the search for alternative societal and political structures. His ideas significantly influenced German thought and discourse.
