Ondrej Herec Biography

A foundational figure in Slovak theory of modern fantastic literature, this author pursued their literary interests alongside a professional career as a sociologist and international lawyer. Their extensive expertise and international experience, including work for the UN and the Council of Europe, enriched their perspective on society. They authored over thirty research works and studies in social policy and the sociology of culture. Their output also includes radio addresses examining contemporary post-industrial societal issues and lecturing on social policy theory at Comenius University in Bratislava.
