Estela Canto was an Argentine writer and translator whose literary work is often overshadowed by her relationship with Jorge Luis Borges. Nevertheless, she deserves recognition for her unique voice and contribution to Argentine literature. Her writing offers insight into the psychology of characters and the social themes of her time. She explored deep human emotions and the complexities of interpersonal relationships.
